How long does it take?
Most 5-second videos are ready in 40–90 seconds. 10-second and Max quality videos can take up to 3 minutes. You can keep using the page while it works.
Can I control the camera and how much it moves?
Yes. Before you make the video, pick a camera move — auto, still, slow zoom in, pan or orbit — and a motion strength: subtle, normal or lively. You can also add a one-line detail such as “golden light”. The controls work on free videos too and cost nothing extra.
What kind of image works best?
A sharp, well-lit image where the subject fills at least a third of the frame. Group photos work with Animate and Old photo; Dance needs one adult with their whole body visible.
Can I use the video on TikTok or Instagram?
Yes. Pick 9:16 before you generate and download the MP4. Your daily free video and videos made with credits have no watermark. Every video is marked as AI-generated in its file data, and TikTok and Instagram may show an AI label.

Can it animate old family photos?
Yes. Pick Old photo: the people blink, breathe and smile softly, and the film grain and colours of the original are kept. Black-and-white and faded prints work; crop close to the faces for the best likeness.
Which AI model turns my image into a video?
Standard and HD videos run ByteDance's Seedance 1.5 Pro, which keeps the face and background of your image; Max quality runs Kling 3.0 for the most natural motion. Both come through licensed API providers, so you need no extra account.
What if the video fails or my photo is rejected?
Credits come back automatically. A photo that fails the safety check is rejected before any credit is spent, and a video that fails during generation is refunded in full.
What happens to my photos?
Photos are stored privately, used only to make your video, and deleted after 24 hours. Videos are kept for 30 days so you can download them, then deleted. They are private unless you share the link or enter the daily challenge. We never use your photos to train AI models.
